STLCC Tech Academy / Sisters in Tech Scholarship Fund

The STLCC Tech Academy / Sisters in Tech Scholarship Fund is established to encourage and inspire deserving students regardless of race, creed, sex or national origin, to pursue a degree in IT Helpdesk/ End user Support, Cybersecurity, CISCO Academy, CCNA Certificate of Specialization in Cisco Networking Academy, Software Developer or Web Developer.

Recipients must meet the following criteria:
1. Student(s) must be enrolled as a full or part-time student at St. Louis Community College and pursuing a degree in Information Technology: IT Helpdesk/ End user Support, Cybersecurity, CISCO Academy, CCNA Certificate of Specialization in Cisco Networking Academy, Software Developer or Web Developer.
2. Must demonstrate enrollment in the Tech Academy via signed MOU
3. Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and be in good standing.
4. Student(s) must have a demonstrated unmet financial need as determined by the Financial Aid office.
5. Preference will be given to incoming Black & Hispanic students, women, and rising academic freshman and sophomore.
6. Must be actively participating in the Tech Academy program.
7. Student(s) who are selected as recipients of the scholarship will be encouraged to send a note of thanks to the fund originators
