The Prellwitz-Redford Nursing Scholarship Fund

Criteria for Award:
1. Student is enrolled at St. Louis Community College.
2. Student has financial need as determined by the STLCC Student Financial Aid office.
3. Student has summited a FASFA to the Student Financial Aid Office.
4. Student has a 2.5 cumulative GPA and is in good academic standing.
5. Preference will be given to students of color.
6. Student is pursuing an AAS degree in Nursing and is enrolled in their first semester at the start of the award term.
7. Student will compose a 500 word essay on the topic ‘What are your educational goals and career plans?’
8. Students must demonstrate dedication, passion and commitment to their education and the honorable profession of nursing.
9. Student will submit one letter of recommendation from STLCC faculty/advisor.
10. Student will submit a Thank You note to the donor if selected as a recipient.
11. If requested, student will meet with donors at their pinning ceremony.
