Capt Ron Johnson Endowed Scholarship

Criteria for Award:
1. Student is enrolled in St. Louis Community College.
2. Preference will be given for students residing in North County. (63136, 63137 and 63138)
3. Student has financial need as determined by the STLCC Student Financial Aid office.
4. Student has summited a FASFA to the Student Financial Aid Office.
5. Student has completed at minimum one developmental course (Level 1 in reading, math or English) at STLCC.
6. Student will compose an essay of 500 words on the topic ‘Detail a transitional or life altering situation and how an education will impact you and support that transition into a new occupation or employment.’
7. Student will submit a verification of community service.
8. Student will provide a letter of recommendation (from employer, church leader, teacher, etc.)
9. Student will submit a Thank You note to the donor if selected as a recipient.
